Bashful Duckling has never quite taken to the traditional routes. Swimming? Too splashy. Flying? Too flappy. Rowing, though – now, that’s a sport with style. Oar in wing, gaze fixed on the horizon, he glides across the water with quiet determination (and the occasional wobble).
His commitment is unmatched. Rain, shine, even the occasional dropped biscuit, he rows on.
If you enjoy early starts, then head down to the lake at 6 am, and join him for a row… or you can just watch, that’s fine too.
